Weekly Wishlist (#1): Keeping the Cart Warrm

Hello everybody, so I've decided that I'm going to start doing a weekly wishlist for you guys. I got this inspiration from Becca, she is one of my favourite bloggers right now. Make sure you go check her out. I thought it was a great idea to help show you guys my style and how I like to dress (despite the fact that I'll usually be found wearing sweats). Every week there will be some sort of theme to the collection of pieces that I show you and this week the title is 'Keeping the Cart Warm'. This is definitely appropriate for these items as I have had them in my cart for weeks but, just never came around to breaking out the wallet and ordering them.

The first item is the black eyelash sweater. I used to have very mixed feelings about these sweaters as it kind of looks like you are wearing a fur ball. But, the moment I felt one of these heavenly sweaters I knew I was in love. The softness of these sweaters is unbelievable and I have also come to love the unique look. Find it here.

These hats are huge right now. I feel like everywhere I look someone is wearing one. They are adorable and add a little extra edge to any outfit. Although, I am hesitant to buy it as I seem to wear only beanies and I'm not sure if I could pull off a hat like this.

Along with beanies, you will learn very quickly that I have an huge obsession with flannels. I would wear them with a pair of jeans, a muscle tee, and booties everyday if I could. This flannel is very different than any of the ones I have as grey flannels aren't easily found. I also love tying them around skirts like this burgundy Glenna skirt  from Brandy Melville. Oh and with thigh highs, perfection.

Also perfection, these booties. The moment I saw Kylie Jenner wearing very similar ones I was searching the internet trying to find a cheap, just as cute pair and I think I've done it. I can't wait to add these to my wardrobe.

Now, this haul can't be complete without a makeup product that describes the word lust. I am typically the kind of person who won't spend over 10 dollars on a product so it's hard for me to spend $16 dollars on a lipstick. But this colour may be worth it. Every time I walk into the MAC store I have to look away from the red lipsticks. Red lips are my favourite, even more than a good nude. Show-All is the perfect colour to add to my very small lip product collection.

These wishlists will be up every Sunday and you'll get to see more of the clothing/products that I feel the need to obsess over, but probably not actually buy...

What items are you currently obsessed with?
If you liked this remember to like, follow and share on all your social media.
Bye friends, xx

Winter Break in Ellicottville

Last weekend my family and I went to Ellicottville, New York for a little ski trip. Ellicottville is absolutely beautiful. This is the third time my family has come here, so I guess you could say we love it. My dad would be outside waiting for the chair lifts to start, me... not so much. I enjoy my sleep when on vacation. Isn't that pretty much the point of winter break? But, compared to any ski hill where I live, this place is huge and the view from the top is breathtaking.

Skiing through the trees with my brother was interesting to say the least. I almost ran into every tree possible. Whereas he just flew through.

Snow really makes everything so much prettier.

This is really cool. It's a course that is obviously open in the summer but, you get strapped in and monkey through the trees on platforms. I really wish we could have done it.

There is a quaint little town just a few minutes away from the hill that we decided to go out and explore. It is full of family restaurants, ski shops, and fairy lights which made everything so wintery and festive. We ended up going to an Italian family restaurant where I got the best cannelloni known to man kind. After that we ventured into a chocolate shop where my mom and I were in heaven.

After a night out on the town, we went back to the lodge and had to start packing our things. The next morning we left for our 5 hour journey home. Of course the day we leave there is a blizzard, but it wasn't so bad because when we got home everything was just as snowy as it was in Ellicottville.
