Hello everyone (probably no one),
Welcome to Meg on the Web! This is an introduction to my blog and everything I'm about. First I thought I'd explain why I decided on a very boring day to start a blog. Well, recently I have picked up quite a nasty cold and haven't been able to do much other than lie in bed and watch Netflix. So I thought why not do something productive with all this extra time? I've wanted to start a Youtube channel for quite some time now. But, as I am much too young and shy I realized sitting behind a computer would suit me better than actually getting in front of a camera. So, for my first ever blog post I thought I would answer the Get to Know Me '21 questions' Tag.
Here it goes.
1. How old are you?
I'm 16 years old
2. What's your middle name?
Ashley
3. What nationality are you?
Canadian eh?
4. What do you do for a living?
I'm a student, you could say that's my full time job at the moment. I'm a Junior in high school.
5. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Definitely London, England. Although, anywhere in England would do. It all seems so cute and it fascinates me. A friend and I actually plan on backpacking through Europe once we finish high school!
6. What is your favourite place to shop for clothing?
Well, not to be too predictable but I love ordering from Brandy Melville and Asos. Although, I also just recently went to Chicago and fell in love with Topshop. So those would have to be my favourite shops.
7. What shoe size are you?
I am a rather small person so my feet are quite small, I'm either a 5.5 or 6
8. How tall are you?
5 foot 1 inch... Did I mention I was small?
9. What's your favourite colour?
Burgundy or maroon
10. Do you have any siblings?
A brother who is two years older than me
11. Do you have any pets?
I wish... I used to have a dog though!
12. Do you have any children?
HAHA no... That would be impossible thank you very much!
13. Favourite make-up brand?
Probably NYX or Benefit even though I don't own much of it...
14. What do you do in your free time?
This is going to sound lame... but most of the time you'll find me sitting on my bed with a Bath & Body Works candle lit reading a book, or watching Netflix...
15. Do you leave house without make-up on?
Oh man... probably too much, I feel bad for the public some days
16. Favourite season?
Oh no I can not pick between winter and summer... I love summer because hello its hot out and I can go to the beach and get a tan. But, on the other hand I absolutely love winter because... Christmas oh and hot chocolate
17. Do you still live with your parents?
Hmmm yes considering I'm only 16
18. What's your favourite movie?
Oh no I can't pick just one... I do love a good rom com though
19. Favourite Food?
FROZEN YOGURT
20. Any guilty pleasures?
Taylor Swift and chocolate.... don't judge me
21. Favourite Youtube channel?
Oh. No. This is definitely the hardest question... I love the whole British gang like Zoe Sugg (Zoella), Alfie (PointlessBlog), Marcus Butler (marcusbutlertv) then theirs my favourite American youtubers like Claudia (BeyondBeautyStar), Sawyer Hartman (sawyerhartman), and the classic Grace Helbig (dailygrace).
